If you enjoy online multiplayer games, try ANIMO Stars Arena - a free-to-play third-person mech-shooter online multiplayer battle game. But that's not all - ANIMO Stars Arena also has a collection of non-fungible tokens (NFTs), as well as real-world collectibles. Created by Animo Studios, ANIMO Stars Arena is set for public launch on March 1, 2024, on popular gaming platforms such as Epic Games, Steam, PlayStation, and Nintendo Switch.

But that's not all - Moonbeam has announced a partnership with Animo Studios to integrate interoperability into ANIMO Stars Arena, expanding the horizons of Web3 gaming. This collaboration aims to bring about access to players in different blockchain networks, allowing inclusivity beyond the confines of Ethereum.

What exactly is Web3 gaming? Well, it's more than just gaming on the web or the internet. Web3 gaming represents an interconnected gaming ecosystem that spans across multiple blockchain platforms with the goal of prioritizing users’ gaming experience and enjoyment over everything else. With Moonbeam and Animo Studios demonstrating it in their partnership, the vision for Web3 gaming is to create a truly multichain experience for the game to be highly accessible and organic.

"At ANIMO we believe that blockchain can become a very useful extension of game economies, as such we decided to work closer with the infrastructure providers to integrate with the blockchains players use. Moonbeam has helped us with that journey since the day we made that decision. They share and understand our vision and have provided incredible support for us to achieve it," according to a spokesperson from Animo Studios

We believe in the coming years we will see more and more Web3 aspects come to mainstream gamers,” Sicco Naets, Moonbeam Foundation's head of ecosystem development said in a statement “...and we’re very excited by how much the partnership with Animo is helping deliver on that vision. This collaboration is moving Web3 gaming beyond the traditional play-to-earn model and is prioritizing gamers and the gameplay experience. Gamers will be able to see and purchase skins regardless of whether they’re Web2 or Web3 and regardless of what chain they reside on. Together with the broad range of platforms the game is launching on - Steam, Epic, Playstation and Nintendo - this removes a lot of the friction for gamers, which is key for mainstream adoption.”

Whether you're a seasoned gamer or new to GameFi, prepare to gear up as you embark on a unique experience with ANIMO Stars Arena.
