Bitskwela Kicks Off Blockchain Summit with Youths of Asian College of Technology
CEBU CITY, Philippines — On September 18, Bitskwela, the Philippines’ leading Web3 and digital finance education platform, conducted their Blockchain Summit at the Asian College of Technology (ACT). The summit marked the beginning of a multi-city campus series aimed at equipping Filipino students with foundational knowledge in blockchain, digital safety, and decentralized career paths.
Supported by ACT’s College of Computer Studies (CCS) and its forward-looking dean Lief Jay de Sagun, the event welcomed students from Computer Science, Computer Engineering, and Information Technology programs. The summit spotlighted how emerging technologies like blockchain are reshaping finance, security, and employment—especially for digitally native youth.
Adrian Alquizar, Visayas Regional Lead at Bitskwela, opened the program with his Introduction to Blockchain Technology talk. The program continued with William Marpa Ill tackling Digital Asset Protection: How to Spot and Avoid Digital Scams. In partnership with Coins.ph, G!G, and the Blockchain Council of the Philippines, Bitskwela’s Blockchain Summit is set to reach at least seven universities nationwide—and counting—for the second half of 2025. With more campuses signing on, students across the Philippines can look forward to hands-on blockchain education, career guidance, and access to real-world opportunities.
Founded on the mission to educate 115 million Filipinos on modern finance—from bonds, stocks, insurance, Bitcoin and other digital assets—Bitskwela has hosted 50+ events across Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao, building a track record, and providing country the service of being the go-to education brand for blockchain and financial literacy with platforms across TikTok, Facebook, X, and Instagram.
